As a lifelong golfer it has been hard to miss the omnipresent Medicus driver commercials and videos.  PGA Tour stars Mark O’Meara, Camilo Villegas, and other golf celebrities tout its alleged merits.

But think about it, can a golf club really be designed to detect swing faults for the average amateur and then become unhinged to provide instant feedback to the player?  After years of wondering if this thing is legit, I decided to give it a whirl.

Where did I go to check out the Medicus driver?  I called around and found out that a large golf retailer nearby had an inside driving range and a Medicus demo driver.

What happened after I arrived there was a bit unexpected.  The head and lower portion of the Medicus driver seemed quite heavy.  At first this felt odd somehow, but what the heck, this is only a practice driver and not one to be used during a round of golf, so the heaviness really doesn’t matter.

But then I thought about taking some practice swings, and I couldn’t help but feel like the club was going to break down and that the club head would be flying around and might smack me somewhere.  I gingerly took a few practice swings, and to my surprise I found out that the Medicus driver held itself together and was easy to swing.

What’s more, when I teed up my first real golf ball, I was able to hit it without the expected feeling of the club breaking in two somewhere during my swing.  At this point I continued to hit another dozen balls or so without doing damage to either myself or the Medicus driver.

Not only that, I grabbed some other regular drivers of different brands and hit some balls with those.  They felt lighter and easier to hit than normal, and that was only after playing with the Medicus driver for a few minutes.

And that’s just for starters because if you are a golfer who has trouble getting off the tee, the Medicus driver, despite my initial skepticism, can indeed give you instant feedback about what is wrong with your swing and how to fix the problems.

For example, take a look at this article about the six parts of the swing where the Medicus driver is designed to break down when a swing fault is detected.  Medicus Golf Club.

This site is dedicated to providing information about the Medicus driver and other training clubs.  Yes, they can be a little on the pricy side, but for the equivalent cost of a few lessons with a pro you can know where your swing faults are, and what’s more the Medicus almost forces you to straighten out your swing.

And it gets better, because with that immediate feedback you can correct your swing faults and not keep perpetuating them.  Endless practice does no good if you do nothing but keep making the same swing errors over and over again.  In fact the more you practice without a training aid like the Medicus driver that provides instant feedback (or getting feedback from an expensive teaching pro), the more your bad habits will become ingrained and hard to fix no matter what you try.  Hey, you may think you know what it is that you are doing wrong, but in reality you probably have no clue or in the best case are overlooking one or two faults you are not even aware of.

And that means that it is definitely worth your while to check out the various articles on this site and have a look at the Medicus driver.

And did I mention that the Medicus driver is the largest selling golf training aid ever?  Over a million Medicus drivers have been sold, and that number only keeps climbing.  So the Medicus driver must be doing something right.  Click here to check out the clubs, and you will be making your first step to finally improving your scores on a consistent basis.  Think about turning the tables on that guy who somehow manages to beat you by one or two strokes and take your money maybe 8 or 9 times out of 10.

Yes, it is possible that you can correct some of your swing problems on your own.  But unless you have some sort of feedback mechanism telling you what it is that you are doing wrong, most of your efforts will be wasted.

For example, you can take some lessons from a pro, and if he or she is a good teacher you can work out some problems.  But we all know that just because we seem to have fixed our swing today, when we go out for our next round, something else is a little off.  This happens to the top PGA pros as well, but most of them can afford to have their own swing coaches at the ready to try and tweak whatever problems that sneak into the swing.

Sure, lessons are great, but they don’t come cheap.  So by paying the equivalent of a few lessons with a teaching pro you can own a Medicus driver and be consistently checking out and verifying your swing at every practice session or when warming up before each round.

And remember, since the Medicus driver is a practice-only club, you could split the cost with one or two buddies and share the club between yourselves. (But don’t go in with that guy who beats you most of the time.)

And it gets even better, because the Medicus driver not only comes with great teaching videos but you can try the club out for 60 days for only about 40 bucks after which a 20% discount is being offered as well as free shipping.

And to top that off you will receive a free putter training aid that helps you learn how to putt with your shoulders like the pros do.

Do you understand what this means?  Your putter and your driver are by far the two most-used clubs in your bag (about half your strokes!).  If you can improve in both of those areas you can finally get some consistently lower scores and start taking some money back from that guy who somehow manages to beat you 8 out of 10 times by a stroke or two.

I don’t know how long this great offer will be in effect, so it would be a good idea to act now and make sure you take advantage of it.
